Our organically grown cinnamon leaf essential oil is steam distilled from the fresh leaves of wild Ceylon cinnamon trees in the forests of Madagascar. Please note: Cinnamomum verum and Cinnamomum zeylanicum refer to the same plant, with the former being the more current name. The term Cinnamomum zeylanicum is an older designation on labels that is being phased out in favor of Cinnamomum verum.
