Witch Hazel Hydrosol

Witch hazel has been well-loved for its skin-supportive antioxidant properties. We reach for this hydrosol when wanting to calm bug bites and itchy, inflamed areas. Known as an astringent, this makes an excellent compress medium for swelling and painful veins and discouraging unwanted microbes. Phenolic tannins are present in witch hazel, providing its astringent properties. This hydrosol may have a shorter shelf-life, and we recommend storing it in the refrigerator. This witch hazel is pure without added alcohol.
